Generally overcast during the morning but cloud breaking to produce spells of sunshine.  Cold again but not as cold as of late, and feeling warmer in the sun.  Mist threatening to develop after dark, though it didn't descend to ground level.  Bits of snow remain, particularly on sheltered pavements, but roads and most surfaces are now clear.
