The mist was thicker this morning, so no surprise that it persisted for longer than we've seen recently. As such, the temperature remained much lower than we've seen recently, a reminder that we're in October now. Despite this, optimism was high that the sun would burn through; sadly this was not to be, so overall a marked contrast to the weather from the last week or more with quite thick low cloud, leaden skies and a cool feel.
