Summer returns at last! A lovely morning with bright sunshine from the word go. Temperatures into the mid 20s for the first time in a month, indeed we recorded the highest temperatures since 10 July today. More cloud during the afternoon, but it was fair weather cloud that didn't take the edge off the day. Turning a little hazier by tea-time though, and for a time a veil of higher cloud took the warmth down a little earlier than we'd otherwise have seen. A sign of a weak weather front approaching.
