Sunny spells but cloud winning over

A slight spotting of rain overnight but as predicted, the band of stormy weather failed to reach Oakdale, and from the word 'go' there was some sunshine on offer, with a fair mix of cloud.  This pattern lasted for most of the day, though there has been a subtle change to overcast conditions meaning the sun gradually disappeared, temperatures tailing off at the same time.  Apart from the spots overnight, another dry day, and quite warm too around lunchtime.
