Slightly surprised to wake up this morning to a wet lawn and flags, more than a heavy dew would cause. Sure enough, there'd been a shower during the night, nothing unusual about that perhaps, though with high pressure slowly becoming dominant I didn't expect any rain. The morning was clear, cool, but sunny, and although fair-weather cloud developed during the daytime, there was nothing threatening and we had some good spells of sunshine.
