Slowly brightening after overnight rain

The rain forecast after tea yesterday arrived during the night, nothing too substantial but enough to keep the weeds growing.  Saturday morning was overcast with one or two dark clouds about, but the rain held off and gradually by early afternoon there were some decent spells of sunshine.  Feeling cool when the cloud thickened enough to cover the sun for a short while, but when the sun was out it again felt very warm - temperatures down a tad on yesterday, and with a slightly stronger breeze there was temptation to be out in it without suncream, but anyone who did would would know about it later!
