A cheerful end to the month

Another significant band of rain passed through overnight, making the end of the month really quite wet, spoiling what has been a very dry spell.  By morning the rain had stopped and skies slowly started to clear.  Towards lunchtime the cloud had gradually dispersed to leave a reasonably sunny day if still a tad cool.  Winds are back in the north-west now, which is never a warm direction and temperatures reflected this, reaching only 10°C at lunchtime and feeling more like 7°C.
