Bank holiday sunshine

It's a bank holiday Monday, the first of a run of three in the UK that aren't these days seen with any great significance other than the opportunity for a day off during the warmer part of the year.  Of course this usually means rain will never be far away, but this year the weather seems to have its timings wrong.  There is a band of organised rain that will visit Blackburn overnight tonight (and probably for the bulk of tomorrow too), but today the weather today has played fair and given us some reasonable warmth and plenty of sunshine.  The cloud has been building slowly through the afternoon but too late to keep us in!
