Rain clearing, then sunshine for a time

Rain clearing, then sunshine for a time sums it up really.  It wasn't the greatest rush hour journey this morning, with rain on and off throughout the journey to work.  But by mid-morning the clouds lifted and we saw some good spells of sunshine and warmer temperatures than we've seen for a while.  The clouds were never all that far away and gradually they won the competition with the sun, but we did end the day without further rain.
