Another band of wet weather passed through overnight, this time linked to a quite deep depression over north-west Scotland, certainly for this time of year. So, more rain to end the month, and whilst skies brightened afterwards, with even some sunshine, temperatures yet again struggled as the dominant weather pattern for the last few weeks continues. There are signs of change in the forecast, thankfully - temperatures are set to rise and the sun should return by Wednesday next week.
